As an Herbalist, I have many products that will alleviate the various physical and emotional challenges a woman may face during pregnancy and postpartum. My suggestions are part of my services to you as your Doula.
The word Doula comes from the ancient Greek meaning “woman servant”. In its contemporary meaning it refers to a professional labor companion who provides continuous physical, emotional, and informational support to pregnant and laboring mothers and their partners or support person.
Your child’s birth is a memory that will be etched in the lives of your family forever. As a Doula, it is my goal to educate women and provide them with assistance they need for a satisfying and supported birth experience. A Doula assists a mom and her partner in creating their ideal birth; a Doula allows the mother to focus on her main task of laboring and delivering her baby by making sure that all of her needs are met; and a Doula provides suggestions for alleviating pain and emotional discomfort. A Doula only adds to the overall experience, empowering the couple to remember that they are following in footsteps that have been walked in for thousands of years.
